Strategic IP Plan

What is Intellectual Property (IP)?

Intellectual property (“IP”) is defined as intangible assets that generally exponentially increase in value as the entity grows. Forms of IP include trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.

IP is protected by both US and international law. Generally, IP protection is gained through filings with various government agencies such as the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the US Office of Copyright.
